Hey Everyone, I have good news to share! Our brand new Shaffer Band t-shirts arrived yesterday in the mail! We are super excited and they look great! A big thank you goes out to our friend, Jeremiah Wentz, for helping us with the design. He did an awesome job! We will be selling them for $15 dollars a piece. The design plays off my testimony song I wrote entitled "Believe". Who knows, if you come see us in concert you might get a great deal on a new t-shirt cd combo that you can't pass up! I hope to have them available for purchase online in the next couple weeks.
Well, last week went great in Tennessee at both churches. Great people at Greenvale Missionary Baptist and Parkway Baptist. We even had the opportunity to hang out with some friends in the afternoon over lunch! This weekend we are gonna be in Strasburg Va for the Waterlick Gospel Sing and then in South Hill Va at New Hope Baptist. Looking forward to it.
Well, have a great Labor Day weekend. I'm excited for the long weekend! Mom and I are planning on doing some shopping on Monday so I'll let you know how that goes later!

Hi! Hope you have had a great week! So I wanted to let you in on some things to be watching for in the next couple weeks. First,
we have ordered group t-shirts and they should arrive in the next two weeks! We are super excited and I think that you are gonna love the design! Our web designer, Jeremiah Wentz, did a tremendous job on the design! Then second, don't forget to be watching for the new look to the website that should be up and running within the next couple weeks also!
Well last weekend we sang at the Tacy Fair which is right down the road from us! It was a fun time and so good to see so many familiar faces and let's not forget the fabulous homemade ice cream. Then on Sunday we were in the Morgantown area at Sabraton Baptist and had a wonderful time there!
Early in the week dad was busy getting the van worked on and working on finishing up the bus! Mom and I went wedding dress shopping with a friend on Monday which was a lot of fun! Mike's been busy working on a truck he bought last week. He bought a little pickup for work and of course for hunting. He's been getting excited because hunting season is just around the corner!
Well this weekend we are gonna be in Tennessee! We will be at Greenvale Missionary Baptist in Church Hill, TN on Sunday morning then at Parkway Baptist in Bristol, TN on Sunday evening! Hope to see those who can, come out and enjoy a great time in the Lord!

Hello again! So, let me first start out by saying we had a great weekend last weekend in our travels besides one little incident and we will get to that later.
We had an awesome service at Family Life Fellowship and a great time at Jesus Fest and a tremendous time at the WV State Fair along with Squire Parsons Trio and Gold City! It was nice having our friend, Mike Hill, to come run sound for us again over the weekend! It really makes a big difference, especially when you are doing outdoor events. Thanks, Mike!
So as I mentioned earlier we had an incident on the way home from the WV State Fair. It was about 1:00am in the morning and all of a sudden it sounded as if a gun shot went off and yep, that's right, we blew a tire on the bus! Dad and Mike worked on it for over an hour to change it out but that wasn't working so well, so eventually they chained it up. We pulled back out on the road and things were going well for awhile until I started smelling something really, really hot. I yelled to dad and said we need to pull of now! He pulled off and when Mike and dad went out to check things out they found smoke and grease rolling out of the wheel. Long story short we had to pull off and call Mike's parents at 4am to come and get us! We arrived home at 5:15am.
It was a long two days but thankful we mad it home safely and dad did get the bus home the very next day!
So, moving on to some good news, our radio single "I'm Going There" is receiving good airplay! It possibly could chart but not sure, time will tell! In the mean time if you hear it on the radio, call your local station and request it!

Hello! So excited that the weekend is here! Hope the weather cooperates this weekend cause there is some great stuff happening over weekend that we are gonna be a part of!
First will be at Jesus Fest which is happening
Friday 13th - Sunday 15th. It's going to be
downtown Clarksburg WV on main street! There is gonna be great entertainment and ministry all weekend. We are gonna be singing on Sunday at 3:00pm. Please
come out and support this great event!
Then on Monday the 16th we are gonna be singing at theWV State Fair with Squire Parsons Trio and Gold City. Concert Starts at 8:00pm. It's a free concert with an $8.00 general gate admission. It's gonna be a great
night so hope to see you there. Don't forget to swing by our product table and say hey!
Also on Sunday morning we will be leading worship at Family Life Fellowship at 10:00am in Enterprise WV.
Last weekend we had a great time in the Charleston WV area. It was great meeting so many new people and hanging out with new friends! Plus the church services were awesome! Thankful for safe travels on the way home!

Hello! So can you believe it's August already? Geez, it seems like I can't keep up at times! Anyone else feel the same?
Anyways, last Thursday we sang with the Hoppers and Gospelaires at the Ritchie Co. Fair! We had such a great time but let me tell you it was so hot but thankfully it didn't rain.
Last weekend we were off. So Mike and I had made plans to go out of town and we had a great time together. Mom and Dad took the
weekend to celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary that is actually this Sunday August 8th. It was good to have the weekend to relax!
I almost forgot, I have some really interesting news about mom. Last Tuesday she was pulled over for speeding! Yep that's right, Trish has a lead foot and she was caught in the act! lol However, she only got a warning which she was thankful for but she did say that she deserved it!
This weekend we are going to be near the Charelston WV area on Saturday and Sunday. Looking forward for a great time. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we travel and for God's direction on some things that we are praying about!

Hello Again, Seems like it was just yesterday when I last blogged, however it's been over a week! I guess that's what happens when you stay busy.
Let's see, last Friday evening we had more photos taken of the group for our new website that's coming very soon and I think we picked the hottest day possible!
Can I just say that I'm so thankful for air conditioning! However, we had a great time taking pictures and hanging out with our new friends Larry and Shelly Hall! Thanks Larry for

On Saturday mom and I had a great day hanging out with her mom, sisters and niece! We all went to lunch together and did some shopping and I'm so excited to say that I didn't buy one piece of clothing. See, God is still in the miracle working business! haha
Yesterday we sang in Nutterfort WV at Faith Christian Fellowship and had a great time! Then that evening we were in Morgantown WV at National Church of God and had another great service! Good day yesterday!
Just wanted to remind everyone that lives near Ritchie County that we are going to be in concert with the Hoppers this Thursday, July 29th at the Ritchie County Fair. Singing starts at 6:00pm and it's held at the 4-H grounds! Hope to see some of you come out cause it's going to be a great time!

Hello again! It's been a crazy week so far, but good! Sunday night we sang at Broadway Church of the Nazarene in Parkersburg WV and had a great time! Then on Monday we sang in Selbyville WV at Christian Fellowship's Church Camp which was a blast! The kids were great to sing to! However on the way there, our GPS took us the long route around and we were on a gravel road for 9 miles. Crazy! Once we got there and started unloading, dad and Mike heard the front tire leaking on the van and yes, we slit the tire! Thank goodness for a spare! Also thank the
Lord we didn't have the bus on that trip!!!
On Wednesday night we led worship at Light of Christ Chapel for a youth service. This particular youth group came from PA to help out families in our local community. So just want to say a big thank you to Peterscreek Baptist!
On Friday we are going to be at Gospel Light Tabernacle in Elkins WV to sing at their homecoming. If you don't have any plans, come on out! Then on Sunday morning we will be in Bridgeport WV at Living Waters Church! Looking forward to seeing their new building!
Well that's all for now. Thankful that we've had some rain the last couple of days. Our yard was looking pretty brown! Have a good rest of the week!

Well, hope all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! I know we did! Let's see, Mike and I had company which was a lot of fun and we sang at our county fairgrounds on Saturday night and then we sang in Deep Creek Lake, MD on Sunday morning!
We had a great time at Crossroads in MD and enjoyed lunch with Pastor Dave and some new friends! Oh yeah, let's not forget all the wonderful food that I devoured! So now it's diet time for me. The only problem is that I say that every Monday but hopefully it will stick this time, at least for a few weeks! haha
This weekend we are gonna be in Parkersburg at Broadway Church of the Nazarene in Parkersburg WV on Sunday night! Then on Monday we are gonna be singing at a youth camp which will be a lot of fun!
Oh, I forgot, I had to go back to the doctors for some further testing last Monday on June 28th, and the doctor said everything was fine!
Praise God! Thank you for your prayers, God is good!

Hello! So, it's been so hot here in WV the past few days but I'm thoroughly enjoying all the sunshine. I've been working on some more landscaping around our house. I think Mike is getting tired of helping me, probably cause
he's doing all the hard laboring!
Last weekend we sang in Harrisville WV at the First Assembly of God and we had a wonderful service! We also enjoyed spending time with friends out on their farm on Saturday!
Thought I would mention that we are going to be singing at the WV State Fair on August 16th at 8:00pm along with Squire Parsons Trio and Gold City. The concert is free with paid gate admission. This will be a great concert and an opportunity to enjoy the WV State Fair! Make plans now to attend. Hope to see you there!
This weekend we are in Cumberland MD at Central Assembly of God on Sunday morning at 10:30am. Looking forward to a great time!
I will be going to the doctor's on Monday the 28th for some tests, so please keep me in your prayers. I'm believing that everything is fine! We serve an awesome God who is still on the throne!

Wow! It's been 3 weeks since I last blogged!
I apologize for the inconsistency! Anyways, we've been out of state the last couple weekends. We were in Bristol TN over Memorial Day Weekend. Had a great time at Parkway Baptist and our friend, Andrea Finley, took some great new photos of us! Hopefully in the next few weeks you will get to
see some of the new pictures on the website cause we are planning on overhauling the site!
The following weekend of June 3rd we were in Manassas VA and Fredericksburg VA. Mike wasn't able to play with us on that Sunday because he attended the funeral of his very close uncle, Rev. Doyle Rider. So we sang by soundtracks that Sunday Morning which was definitely out of our comfort zone but it actually went very well! Praise God!
We were back close to home this past weekend in Buckhannon WV at Christian Fellowship!
Dad's been working on the bus here lately! A couple little minor things have popped up that's needed to be fixed so he's been spending a lot of time over at the bus garage!
Well that pretty much brings you up to date with everything that's been going on besides just everyday life! Once again, be listening for our radio single "I'm Going There" and call and request it!

Hello! It never ceases to amaze me how fast time goes by from week to week! Over the weekend we were in McArthur OH and Elizabeth WV! Had a terrific time at both
churches!
Last week my dad's side of the family was hit hard with two deaths! One was his cousin and the other was his sister, Linda, who I mentioned in my last blog! It was a tough week! Thank you for all the prayers and for those of you who have been leaving comments on our facebook. Thank You!
This weekend, which is Memorial Day Weekend, we will be traveling to Bristol, TN, to sing at Parkway Baptist! Looking forward to a great time in the Lord and excited to see friends!

Hello. Yikes! I'm way behind on my blog! I tend to procrastinate a lot of times which then gets me in big trouble!
Anyways, things have been busy around here! The past couple weekends we've been singing close to home which has been nice.
Dad's sister, Linda, had a massive stroke three weeks ago and she has been in critical condition! So he's been traveling back and forth to the hospital here lately. She did come off the ventilator this past Tuesday! Please say a prayer for her and her daughter, Bridget.
Last weekend Mike and I did a little landscaping around the house. Let me just tell you that landscaping is hard work! We have a lot more to do, a little at a time!
Over the weekend, we were all on the bus headed to sing and it was very early in the morning! I was sitting on the couch and I happened to look down and noticed that I had put two different tennis shoe's on! That was pretty funny! Leave it to me. I did that one time when we were singing in OH, I had brought two different knee high black boots and that's all I had to wear!lol
This weekend we will be in Parsons WV at the Parsons Church of God at 10:00am And then we will head to sing in Elkins WV at The American Mountain Theatre at 3:00pm for a benefit! Tickets are $10 per person. I know they only have a few more tickets available.
